50 Facts About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog! As a little introduction, here are 50 facts about me.

1. My mum’s due date for me was April 1st however, I was born nine days later on April 10th.
2. I was born at the same hospital as both Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling.
3. My first word was “kitty-cat”.
4. I am terrified of spiders ever since I went to Australia when I was seven.
5. My favourite animal is a meerkat.
6. I’ve donated my hair twice to make wigs.
7. I love the smell of coffee but I don’t like the taste.
8. My favourite flowers are poppies.
9. I was once mistaken to be Selena Gomez (by a group of children).
10. I can’t whistle.
11. I love musicals and sometimes I imagine my life as one.
12. My favourite genre of music is songer/songwriter (I really admired performers who write their own lyrics).
13. When I was ten, my friend and I pretended to be allergic to the colour pink (we were such weird kids).
14. I’ve never been drunk.
15. I love making lists.
16. I am studying history at university.
17. I keep ticket stubs (from movies, concerts, shows, etc.).
18. When I was twelve, I played Goldilocks in our school play “Goldilocks Goes on Trial”. I had to wear a horrible, itchy wig!
19. My favourite book series is Harry Potter.
20. My favourite book is “The Fault in Our Stars”.
21. I’ve been travelling internationally since I was four.
22. I seem to like bands that have numbers in their names (One Direction, OneRepublic, U2, The 1975, Maroon 5).
23. I get really grumpy when it is super hot/humid.
24. I am awful at painting my nails — I don’t have the patience to do it!!
25. My favourite colour is red.
26. I can play the piano and flute. I would love to learn the guitar, ukulele, and cello!!
27. I have really small hands.
28. I love to dance. I took tap and jazz lessons when I was younger.
29. Whenever I go camping, it always seems to rain.
30. I blush really easily.
31. I also cry really easily.
32. I love watching the Olympics.
33. I got a concussion playing soccer when I was sixteen.
34. I have two cats, named Kit Snicket and Calypso.
35. I’m from a really small town that has a population of less than 2 000. Right now however, I am living in Toronto for university.
36. I have scars from the chicken pox because I used to scratch in my sleep.
37. I love chocolate especially chocolate and mint.
38. I love baking.
39. My favourite holiday is Christmas.
40. I am an only child.
41. I was in two musicals in high school — “The Sound of Music” and “Annie”.
42. I love when the leaves change in the fall.
43. I over-think, over-analyze, and over-plan everything.
44. I love to draw.
45. My favourite Disney movie is Aladdin.
46. I’ve had glasses since I was six, but I almost always wear my contacts.
47. I can’t do a cartwheel.
48. My first memory is dancing with my dad to Celine Dion.
49. I like to eat cupcakes with a fork.
50. I am a really deep sleeper. Not even thunderstorms wake me up!!
